Core Aeration
To maintain a healthy lawn following summer's heat and heavy
traffic, your soil needs water, air and nutrients. Compacted
lawns have no space to hold these components, and root
growth is stunted, causing dead spots, patches and thinning.
Core aeration is the removal of plugs of soil from the turf
to increases the penetration of water, air and nutrients.
This also reduces the amount of fertilizer runoff, leaving
more fertilizer for the grass to use.
Power Raking
Power Raking is done in the Spring & Fall. The primary
purpose is to remove thatch and dead grass caused by the
fungus, insects, heat stress, snow and salt damage, and
leaving too many clippings on the grass. Benefits include
helping the grass breathe, allowing more Air, Water,
Fertilizer and Seed to get to the root system, and allowing
grass to become thicker and healthier.
Mowing
Our weekly and timely mowing service ensures your yard is
looking its best. We mulch the grass, trim the edges, and
blow off all sidewalks and driveways every time we visit.
Lawn Care, Weed Control, Fertilization
Organic Lawn Care
Our organic lawn care program is a pesticide-free
alternative to our regular lawn care service. Our Natural
Nutrient Program includes all-natural fertilizers that
stimulate root and shoot growth as well as turf greening and
thickening. This program is safe for children and pets even
on the same day as application.
Over Seeding
Over Seeding follows core aeration to help promote turf
density by introducing new seed to your lawn. We recommend
this service as an annual maintenance practice. It's one of
the best ways to maintain a rich, healthy soil base, and
helps to ensure maximum effectiveness of your regular lawn
care applications.
Grub Control
Adult beetles lay eggs in your lawn that hatch into larvae
called grubs. Grubs burrow into the soil to feed on grass
roots. If feeding is severe, grubs can kill large areas of
lawns.
The grub treatment is preemptive and must be applied during
the early stages of the larvae growth to prevent an
infestation.
Grubs are controlled most effectively in mid-summer to early
fall when they have recently hatched and are feeding closer
to the surface. Your Lawn Care Specialist will determine the
best time to treat your lawn. |
